Collisions with physics interaction gave us a hard time, so we are forced to change the whole architecture. We are now using ODE[*] as a physics engine.

CM plan is now available in the documents. Team is currently working on TOEFL. But we are on schedule. No need to worry =). Enjoyable version will hopefully be available by the end of this month.

We couldn't find the chance to update the website for some time. But meanwhile we have accomplished to finish a couple of things for our enjoyable version. By the way we started to play our game. But no game for you until the first release =p. What we've completed so far are as follows.
  • UI Objects and "Welcome" and "Hangar" interfaces.
  • Health, shield decrease mechanisms. Die-Resurrect at hangar cycle.
  • Our own tiny database model and register, login mechanisms.
  • Explosions.
Well, what's left is a great deal of work but we'll try to finish the game within the time left. An updated version of the living schedule is available now.

As the due of the first release approaches -which is this thursday- we've added an NPC character to our game. Other than that, the functionality of buying and selling objects in user hangar are also available as well as the Headquarters in space. Also some minor sounds are also available in game from now on. You can see the model of our NPC chararacter in screenshots. Thursday our first release will be uploaded.

The final day for the projects approaches silently. We've done the best we could and the only thing left to implement is the missions in Twilight. Until this time we've accomplished the following functionalities:
  • There are 3 ships which can be bought in the game, namely "Light Fighter", "Medium Fighter" and "Heavy Fighter".
  • There are 5 weapons namely, "Laser Flare", "Double Laser Flare", "Light Beam", "Homing Rocket" and "HT-42 Antares Drone".
  • Buying, selling, experience, level and skill distribution systems are complete. There are 3 skills for a player to improve. These are "Attack", "Defense" and "Speed".
  • The Human and Sylan headquarters are imported in the game.
  • Sound interaction is available in the game.
  • There is an arcade reward system in the game which offers extra health, shield and credits to players.
  • We've also added a couple of screenshots.

We've worked hard up to this point and the project reached it's (hopefully) final version. We've made an installer so you can easily download and start playing. We've also put a trailer video in the goods section which demonstrates the story and the gameplay. We've had good time developing the project and maybe in the (distant :)) future we could work on it just for fun...
