            In this week we have worked together. We began to study detection of motion. We tried to implement the Bag-of-Visual method that we analyzed during literature survey. However, to detect the motion exactly is a difficult operation. Our attempts were not enough to get a complete solution for this problem. We will continue this process next weeks. Other than these, some bugs were resolved. For example, when a new assignment is sent, last assignment information gets lost. But, now this is solved.

            Last week, I finished implementing “sent messages” part of the Yaver. Within the remaining time I had, I read two papers related to motion detection. These are “Activity Recognition from User-Annotated Acceleration Data” and “Low Level Recognition of Human Motion”.

Since our last appointment with our assistant, I searched for Trac and SVN integration on the internet and could not find clear tutorial about doing it. With as far as I find on the Internet about this integration among more than one websites, I started to integrate Trac and SVN. I downloaded Pyhton and MySQL because it looks like they are needed for working on Trac. I did not know we should do both SVN and Trac before last week, so I needed to research about what Trac is and why we can need using it. On the other hand, because of the homeworks of ceng436 and ceng 483, last week I could not spare time for working on GUI, besides thinking and chatting with group members how better GUI can be in lecture breaks.
