Human brain consists of billions of neurons which communicate each other with electrical signals. Those electrical signals are called as brainwaves. By placing electrodes on the scalp it is possible to record the summed electrical activity of the cortex, in a technique known as electroencephalography (EEG). Brain Computer Interface Devices (BCID) is used to collect brainwaves. A brain–computer interface (BCI) is a communication system that does not require any peripheral muscular activity. Indeed, BCI systems enable a subject to send commands to an electronic device only by means of brain activity. By these devices it is possible to develop a software program that can be a communication pathway between human and computers without any classical physical input like mouse or keyboard.

Our project group aims to design a software product that enables to determine the behavior of brainwaves and interpret them with using Brain Computer Interface Devices (BCID). This will be done via a computer game. The design of this game will be such that it will get inputs from a BCID and transcend these inputs into game environment. User will be able to observe the effects of his/her brainwaves through the game. In this manner, user’s attention level and skills will be improved by managing his/her focus playing this game.

Our project can be generally listed as two main units:

1. Hardware components: Brainwaves are acquired and transferred to the computer by the hardware (BCID).

2. Software components: Acquired data is going to be interpreted by the software. Interpreted data will be used to create scenarios in the feedback games.
