What is MUCalc?

MUcalc can be briefly described as a MathML-based calculator for measurement uncertainty calculation

What does MUCalc do?

MUcalc should particularly facilitate the specification,calculation and presentation of the uncertainty arising from the calibration of a certain class of programmable measurement devices

The customers of MUcalc will be calibration laboratories around the world.In the current practice, the vendor of test platform (or test automation system) provides uncertainty calculation as a functionality

How MUCalc works?

You can see GUI in first picture. GUI has Equation part, file part and status part. All parts will explain detaily later. File part, user has to choose dataset to input file path and for writing calculating result, choose output file path(Second Picture). Status part, user can see calculation part of formula like equation added, calculation started... (Third Picture) For equation part, user can give name to equation and add description also save the equation.(Fourth Picture) User must write all variable names first row. (Fifth Picture) Calculated result written into choosen excel file.(Sixth Picture). User can writes equation with MathML editor easily.(Seventh Picture) MUCalc takes formula and parses it. After parsing, match variables and values. Then, calculate result and written into Excel file
