In today’s business life, companies use a lot of software programs. Enterprise Resource Planning software programs are one of the most used software systems in companies’ different departments.
A Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) are the systems and processes at the intersection between human resources management (HRM) and information technologies. It merges HRM as a discipline and in particular its basic HR activities and processes with the information technology field, whereas the programming of data processing systems evolved into standardized routines and packages of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. On the whole, these ERP systems have their origin on software that integrates information from different applications into one universal database.
SENtral is the corporate human resources management system of Siemens EC that is used to keep electronic records of the personnel master data (education, work experience, personal data, certification, competencies, debits, income etc), track of the annual leaves (vacation, rest, relaxation etc), and to keep track of personnel training. And it also allows planning, coordination and approval mechanisms for personal trainings and for annual leaves throughout the fiscal year.
The system shall offer management reports of the above modules. It shall have notification mechanisms by e-mail and/or SMS. Based on the detailed specification, the project is separated to 3 different projects each corresponding to specific modules (master data, annual leaves, training).
