In our graduation project, we propose a solution for tracking of a moving target within an area where seismic sensors are previously deployed. Based on the detection from the seismic sensors, the route of the target will be calculated and it will be compared with the original route of the target as a performance criteria.
Implementing a target tracking algorithm
Implementing a GIS based Sensor System Simulator which accepts sensor position values manually, accepts target route (waypoints) manually, calculates the route of the target using the sensor inputs and the implemented target tracking algorithm, amnd finally evaluates the performance of the algorithm with the originally entered route
Implementing seismic detection algorithm on real sensors
Integrating the Sensor System Simulator implementation with the real sensor network (processor card with wireless communication unit integrated with a geophone and programmer shall be supplied from ASELSAN)
Testing the implemented tracking algorithm on real life scenarios to evaluate its performance (e.g. Target moves with a handheld GPS within the sensor region and takes position samples from the GPS while the route is formed by the implemented algorithm on the simulator. The two results will be compared for evaluation).
