ABOUT PHOTOCACHE

Photocache aims to convert our phone storage into a "cache" of our photos,  and make our computers as the main storage device.  Photocache consist of two components; a mobile gallery app and a desktop server.  Once paired, the mobile app will automatically backup your photos over Wifi, whenever it connects with the server, creating a smooth pair-and-forget backup process. However unlike other back-up solutions, Photocache will not delete any photos on your phone. It will keep track of the free storage space on your phone, and will replace your photos with smaller thumbnails, WHENEVER your phone starts running out of space. This will allow the phone to never run out of space.

We want to transform our phones from a simple camera to a life-time album in which our most valuable moments are stored.
